Ramblers & Royals announce merger

The St Louis Rambler Rugby Club is happy to announce its merger with the St Louis Royals Rugby Club effective for the 2019/2020 season. In our 85th year of operation, the Ramblers are looking to secure our future by combining with the 2017 D3 National Champions. The St Louis Royal Ramblers will field both a D2 and D3 side in the 2019/20 season and will train and play at Lou Fusz Athletic. Our goal is to advance both teams to the National play-offs with the ultimate goal of gaining promotion to D1 and D2.

“The merger of these two clubs is a historic step for rugby in the city of St Louis. It’s exciting to see the enthusiasm from both clubs to join as one and compete for national titles across all divisions”, says Ryan Dunn, President of the Royals. Colin Heath, President of the Ramblers says “The two clubs have a long rich history and we’re excited about the merger. The combining of resources and players will no doubt elevate the play and talent pool of rugby in St Louis.”
